Michelle originally hails from the northern town of Thunder Bay, ON, Canada. She moved to Toronto after completing a BFA in Theatre Performance at Concordia University (Montreal). She has appeared on stage and screen and is well known for her portrayal of Trish on the internationally syndicated series Paradise Falls (3 seasons). Michelle also starred alongside Adam Beach in the award-winning comedy series, Moose TV and is currently playing a recurring role on APTN’s hit series Blackstone (Season 2). aptn.ca/pages/blackstone/
Michelle has starred in critically acclaimed stage plays in Montreal, Toronto, London and Ottawa. Selected theatre credits include: The Mill (Theatrefront, Winner of 4 Dora Awards/Best Independent Production), Chekhov Longs (Theatre Smith-Gilmour, Winner of 4 Dora Awards) presented at the Factory Theatre (Toronto) and Festival des Ameriques (Montreal), Director’s Cut (Crow’s Theatre/Factory), Mary’s Wedding (Grande Theatre, London), Aurash (Modern Times), Interrogation (Modern Times Theatre, NOW Magazine Citation for Best Ensemble), Unidentified Human Remains (Crow’s Theatre/Buddies In Badtimes), Unnatural and Accidental Women (Native Earth/Buddies In Badtimes/Now Magazine Citation for Best 2004 Production), and the one-woman show, Idiot (Factory Theatre/Winner of the Contra Guy Award/NOW Magazine Citation for Best Performance).
Michelle has guest starred on numerous television series, including: Naked Josh, Puppets Who Kill, This Is Wonderland, and Train 48. She has also appeared in the feature films, Resident Evil: Apocalypse and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen.
She is a member of ACTRA, CAEA, and The Canadian Academy of Film and Television. She holds both Canadian and US residency status.
