Jackpot premiered at the Hot Docs International Film Festival in Toronto Canada.
The film was nominated for the Donald Britton Gemini for Best Social Issue Documentary. It also received 2 Yorkton Golden Sheaf Awards – Best POV Documentary & Outstanding Emerging Filmmakers.
